Lucy joined Bridge Law in August 2019 as a Legal Assistant at our Holmfirth office. In September 2021, Lucy became a Paralegal, supporting our Family Law team. Alongside her role at Bridge Law, Lucy began studying a Postgraduate Diploma in Law at the University of Law in Leeds in October 2021. She hopes to go on to become a Family Law Solicitor at Bridge Law in future.
Prior to starting her legal career, Lucy gained a degree in Journalism in 2015. Her interest in the legal profession was sparked after participating in court reporting and studying a media law module. Upon graduating, Lucy went into restaurant management to build on her transferable skills before joining us at Bridge Law.
Lucy enjoys her role at Bridge Law because she believes there is no greater job satisfaction than knowing you’ve helped someone through what are often very emotive cases, that need to be handled with care and empathy.
